How Does Hop Hosiery Work?
You create your Hop Box by answering a few simple questions such as which style would you like, what denier, size and colour (if applicable). You then decide how often you would like it delivered and voila! You’re done. There’s no trawling through 100’s of different tights offering everything from leg cooling to super shiny tights. We just stock what we believe to be the perfect everyday tights.

Once you’re account is set-up we deliver your tights directly to you and will continue to send them as frequently as you require. You just log onto your account if you need to change anything such as the frequency, number of tights, style or denier.

What is a Hop Box?
It’s the small box which comes through your letterbox containing your tights!
Why is Hop Hosiery a subscription?
The main purpose of Hop Hosiery is to take tights off your to do list. There’s nothing worse than fixing your perfect tights requiring outfit to find you’re out of tights or that all the ones in your draw have ladders or toe holes! OK we’re being slightly dramatic here but it’s an annoyance we’d rather do without.

If you wear tights on a regular basis shopping for them can become boring task and is something that you need to continuously remember to do! We think your time could be better spent doing something more productive or fun. Hop Hosiery allows you to chose your perfect tights once and then all that is left to do is to choose how often you need them.

Although Hop Hosiery is technically a subscription service, through your online account you can cancel or change it at anytime. Your subscription is entirely flexible ensuring you only get the tights you need when you need them which you can manage via your personal account.

How much does a Hop Box cost?
Our standard Hop Box is £10.95 which comes in three different styles – sheer, control and opaque. Our standard sheer Hop Box contains 3 pairs of tights whilst our control & support and opaque Hop Boxes contain 2 pairs of tights. Postage and packing is always included.
How much does postage and packaging cost?
Nothing, nada, zilch…we love simplicity therefore include all costs in the overall cost of a Hop Box.
Can I cancel my subscription if I want to?
Yes absolutely, anytime. You can do this through your online account, just remember you need to cancel at least 24hrs before your next order is due to be sent.

How do I get a receipt for my Hop Box?
If you want a receipt  just drop us an email to [email protected] and we’ll send you a copy.
What's the latest I can make changes to my order and account?
Up to 24 hours before your Hop Box is due to be sent which you can find detailed in your online account.
How do I change the type of tights I would like?
You can make changes to all your subscription preferences, including type of tights, via ‘my preferences’ in your online account which can be accessed here
Can I change the frequency of my Hop Box deliveries?
Yes absolutely, under ‘my preferences’ via your online account which you can access here.
How do I change my password?
You can change it on the Edit Account section of your online account which you can access hereIf you’ve forgotten your password you can select to change it on the login page where we’ll ask you for your email address. Once you submit your email our site will automatically send you a link to change your password.

How can I change the size of my Hop Box?
We only stock one size Hop Box containing either 3 pairs or sheer or 2 pairs of opaque or control & support tights ensuring our boxes fit right through your door everytime.

What is included in the Hop Hosiery range and why?
We stock three difference types of tights – sheer, control & support and opaque and overall our range includes 5 difference products:

  • 2 different denier opaque tights – denier 40 & 60 in black only
  • 2 different denier sheer tights – denier 15 & 20 in 5 shades
  • 1 style of control & support tights in denier 20 in 5 shades

We thought long and hard about the size of our range and talked with many different women from a wide range of different backgrounds, careers and life styles, needless to say we got may different opinions!

We also talked with friends, family and past work colleagues who live in tights Monday to Friday who didn’t even know what denier was, so whilst we wanted to ensure we had something for everyone we needed to keep it relatively simple. In the end we felt that our range of 5 provides not too many, not too few but just the right number of options to find the right tights for you. That rhyme there was totally by accident by the way!

What shades do you stock?
At this time we stock 5 shades: natural, natural tan, cappuccino, cocoa and black. You can see our shades here.
Do you wear the Hop Hosiery tights?
Yes, absolutely, all the time! The idea for Hop Hosiery came about when our founder (a regular tights wearer) found frustration spending precious time taking trips to the store to buy tights or forgetting to pick them up. One weekend when she had too many plans to fit in a trip to the store she decided finally to bulk buy online but was overwhelmed by the number of options with no clear guidance on the difference between many products. We can safely say we love and live in tights!
How can I recycle my tights?
Unfortunately there’s currently no way of recycling tights to be used as materials in the manufacturing process of new products as most of us do now with paper and plastics. There are however many ways to practically and creatively recycle tights which we will be posting to the world via our blog.
Which payment types do you accept?
We currently accept most major credit and debit cards including Visa, Mastercard and American Express.
When is my next payment/delivery due?
Payments are taken the morning of the day your order is due to be shipped. You can check out your next shipping date and therefore payment date at anytime via your online account.
How do I get a receipt for my Hop Box?
If you want a receipt for your tights just send us an email to [email protected] letting us know and we’ll send you a copy.
What happens if I don't have enough money to pay on the day you charge my account?
We’ll send you an email to let you know that we couldn’t process the payment and advise you to update your details. Hop Hosiery will attempt to charge your account at a later date and if we are unable to charge you after numerous attempts, unfortunately we will not be able to send your box until you update your account. If you have any questions, please email [email protected] with your account details and we will endeavour to help you.
Can I temporarily hold my subscription?
Our website doesn’t currently have the functionality to hold your subscription but via your online account you can do the next best thing and change your next delivery date. So if for example you’re going on holiday for two weeks, never wear tights throughout the summer or your next delivery isn’t due for three weeks and you need them asap, you can change your next shipping date through your online account here.
I'm a non-UK customer but wish to treat a friend in the UK - how can I pay for them?
When entering your Billing Address, simply select Ireland as the Billing Country.

How often will you deliver my Hop Box?
When you join us we’ll ask a few simple questions about the tights you want and how often you want them. We want you to get your tights as soon as possible so we will send out your first Hop Box straight away. Then, it’s really down to you. You can choose to have a Hop box delivered every week, two weeks, month or every other month.
How will I know when my next delivery is due?
You can find out your next delivery due date on your personal account at any time.
Will I need to be at home for the delivery of my Hop Box?
Our Hop Boxes are designed to be “letterbox friendly” to fit through nearly all UK letterboxes. We send via standard Royal Mail delivery so that you don’t need to sign for it.
How big is the Hop Box?
The dimensions of our box are 16cm wide x 2.4cm thick x 22cm long. If you’re worried that your Hop box won’t fit through your letterbox, you can have it delivered to your workplace instead but typically this size box does fit through the majority of letterboxes.
Do you deliver outside of the UK?
At this moment in time we don’t delivery outside of the UK however please drop us an email to let us know if this is something you would be interested in, maybe it’s time for us to expand.

My tights haven't arrived yet
The Royal Mail is great but unfortunately on occasion they can be delayed so let’s give them an extra day. If your tights still haven’t shown themselves three days after shipping just drop us an email to [email protected] letting us know, including your account email address and your delivery address and we’ll make sure a replacement is placed in the post as soon as possible.
What's happening!?! The site isn't working properly
Oh no! Can you do us a huge favour and drop us an email to [email protected] stating the problem in the email title so we can work on getting it back to its usual self as soon as possible.
I can't log in - I may have forgotten my password
